Abstrakt		The case of a female patient with ulcerative colitis is dealt with in the contribution. Besides the basic data concerning internal and psychiatric view of the illness, the one and a half year lasting treatment, wich runs on a double-track and is not yet finished, is presented. Authoress states, that the patient's attitude towards her illness is much improved and that she functions much better on duty as well as at home. She also seeks immediate help at somatic exacerbations and does not hide her problems as before she used to do very explicitely. The favourable effect of treatment is evident.
