Abstrakt | We invited 140 subjects to clinical visit in Ribnica. There was a group of subjects with family history of hipertension (group 1,N=77) and a group without family history of hipertension (group 2,n=63). Both groups were very similar concerning sex (61 women and 79 men) and age (27,7 years). Our results support Hypothesis that hypertension is genetically determined disease wich can be predicted and that there is neurovegetative disregulation (high sympathetic tone) in group 1, while persons are still normotensive. We found that group 1 vary from group 2 in blood pressure wich is statistically significant higher in a group 1 either while measurments were taken in the clinic or at home. 3 consequent measurments taken in the clinic showed lowering blood pressure each time, but lowering was much more prominent in group 1 than in group 2 although it was no statistically significant. While stress testing was performed (hand grip and mathematical mental stress test) ther were subjects from group 1 who overreacted comaring to subjects in group 2. We didn't find differences in urine excretion neither sodium and potassium excretion (used as pointer of salt consumption). But there were interesting differences in lipid metabolism. Subjects in group 1 had higher triglicerides concetration, cholesterol due to LDL fraction but lower concentration of HDL-cholestrol than subjects in group2. | |
