Abstrakt		The results of analysis of health aducational work with cardiovascualar patienets and especialy with hypertensive patients in health organizations of Slovenia are demonstrated. The main intention of analysis was to represent all the organized forms of health educational work with hypertensive patients especaly the group work. Results should serve as basis for further work at the preparing of a comprehensive heatlh educational programme concerning the hypertension poroblematics. Data were gathered with the help of enquiry form sent into all the health organisations in Slovenia. Analysis has shown that here are but a few well organized forms of health educational work with cardiovascular patients resp. hypertensive patients. Prevention and control of chronic non-infectious diseases is an important issue of prevention in adult population. A model of organization of the Centre for prevention in general practise as a new activity of primary health care in Slovenia is described. Professional basis for centre activities are the goals, strategy, methodolgy and indicators of the programe for prevention and control of non-infectious diseases (CINDI).
