Abstrakt		Psychophysical tests are an accurate, exact and reproducible examination of the somatosensory functions, afferent nerve functions are determined and abnormalities evaluated. We found psychophysical tests an important new tool in a modern neurophysiological laboratory. Thermal specific and thermal pain thresholds, vibratory thresholds and other somatoaesthetic perception thresholds are invaluable assistants in resolving neurological problems.
