Abstrakt		A research was made in Ljubljana the purpose of which was to research the method of reducing the population of pigeons with the use of progesteron thus decreasing the number of pigeons and influencing the improvement of the state of health of the population. By using the Ornisteril treatment in the period of three years there was a decrease in the number of pigeons in the large city center by 24.3%. In one feeding area even up to 70.6%. Beside our work and observation we noticed similar problematic in the relation man-pigeon reported by several authors from different researches over the world. Our observations in Ljubljana result in similar findings on the same distribution of groups of people who fed pigeons from different reasons.
