Abstrakt		The article gives an overwiev of relevant legislation and basic concepts of management of waste arising from DDD activities in Slovenia. The most important aspects of the successful management of waste arising from discussed activities, based on the results of analysis, are presented. These aspects are: accurate records on quantities, types and methods used, sanitation and redesign of premises and equipment, stringent implementation of separate waste collection at the source and active participation of all stakeholders in the waste management process.
