Abstrakt | The concept of eare, one of the core concepts in rhe theory and practice of contemporary nursing, is continual social process which consists of four phases. The concept of competence as an element of ethie of care arises from the third phase, called care-giving. Because of continual progress of nursing are nurses as professionals obliged to educate permanently as the mode of keeping professional competence all the time during their professional career. ln the research Nursing in the light of ethics the author is interested in professional conduct of Slovenian nurses in the light of keeping professional competence. It is about the reasons for participating in the expert and research advanced study courses, mediation of professional knowledge, perception of the own professional qualification and professional conduct in the case of the delegated task, which is out of their competence. | |
