Abstrakt		During last years we have witnessed many trials in heart failure patients. They investigated diastolic heart failure, tumor necrosis factor antagonists, endothelins, erythropoietin and mechanical devices. Despite large number of included patients, favourable outcomes of smaller trials and results of pathophysiological studies investigators showed positive outcome only for mechanical devices and partially erythropoietin. Comprehensive out-patient management of heart failure can decrease number of hospitalizations and management costs while patients experience improvement in quality of life.
