Abstrakt		Advantages of external fixator are mainly simplicity of construction, simple placement and preservation of bone vascularity. The range of indications is: open fractures type II. and III, osteitis, poor skin coverage in closed fractures, ligament taxis, arthrodesis, osteotomies, limb lengthening, bone transport, and in war and in situation of catastrophe.
