Abstrakt		Periodontal dressings are believed to promote wound healing after periodontal surgery. In this article, the most widely used periodontal dressings are described. They are divided into three groups according to their mechanical properties and composition. The results of studies exploring their influence on cells and the postoperative wound are presented. The author concludes that none of the described dressings is suitable for use after flap surgery since all interfere with wound healing. Reso-Pack dressing is recommended for use following gingivectomy to protect the surgical wound.
Izvleček		Gingivalna obveza naj bi pospešila celjenje rane po parodontalnokirurškem posegu. V članku so opisane značilnosti največkrat uporabljenih gingivalnih obvez. Glede na njihove mehanske lastnosti in sestavo so razdeljene v tri skupine. Prikazani so izsledki raziskav o njihovem vplivu na gojene celice in pooperacijsko rano. Avtor zaključuje, da vse opisane obveze motijo celjenje rane po reženjski operaciji in jih odsvetuje. Umestna pa je zaščita rane po gingivektomiji z obvezo Reso-Pack.
