Abstrakt		The author shows the external fixator in case of massive injuries in war surgery. Specific operative techniques, different application types and postoperative treatment in extreme conditions are showed. The use of external fixation without image intensifier should not be contraindicated. Some organizing advices in field surgery are presented.
