Abstrakt		The reservoir and main vector of rabies in Slovenia is the red fox. In the 1989 diagnosed animal cases it participated by 91 per cent. Seasonal in the fox rabies incidence were analysed using a multiplicative model of time series decomposition. Cycles were determined by spectral analysis and expressed as a trigonometric polynomial function. The highest seasonal index was in March (168.96) and the lowest in July (56.48). Periodicity of cycles in the model equals 3 years and 9 months
