Abstrakt		Ultrasound retains a central role in the imaging of a wide variety of renal diseases. Color Doppler and power Doppler sonography have allowed an extension of that role to the evaluation of certain renal vascular diseases and renal sonography has also become a functional examination. The authors are presenting renal sonography and sonographic images of the kidneys obtained in a normal healthy person and in a patient with a renal tumor.
