Abstrakt		Our paper includes patients hospitalized at the Medical ICU for acute coronary syndrome in the years 2002 and 2003, when our institution started to apply a greater number of percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). Given are the basic characteristics of these patients, the time of admission to hospital, the method of treatment - PCI and thrombolysis in particular - as well as the mortality rate and the duration of hospitalization.
