Abstrakt     In the continuation of the study of the frequency of infectious cattle diseases in Croatia, some orientation data on the frequency of cattle plague in the first half of the 19th century were collected. Cattle plague raged throughout the "Kingdom of Croatia and Slavonia" and the neighbouring border-land from 1836 to 1840. At the same time, especially in 1837 and 1838, it was spread also in a large number of districts in Hungary. In the same regions, in 1801, 1810, 1813, 1822, 1829-1821, and in 1843, infectious diseases were recorded under the names of "Lues animalis", "Pecorum cornutorum Lues", "Interioris Stamachi" and the like. Since in the sources from which these data are taken, except from their names, there is very scarce information, nor are there any related literature reports available either, it could only be legitimate to guess, according to the above listed names, that all these diseases also related to the devastated cases of cattle plague
