Abstrakt     In 1981 and 1982, on 15 separate occasions, 1 137 samples of feces of the sheep originated from a farm in the Podravska Slatina area were examined by using the McMaster method for the quantitative and qualitative determination of gastrointestinal nematode eggs. Favourable climatic conditions in the area for the development of nematodes during a period of 5-6 months in the year, differences in the intensity of invasion during the year, as well as a considerable influence of dehelminthisation were determined. Besides the influence of climatic factors and dehelminthisation on the intensity and extensiveness of invasion a higher effect of these indicators of invasion at time of lambing and lactation is described to the spring rise phenomenon. The later decrese of invasion that was not the result of dehelminthisation was due to the self-cure phenomenon
