Abstrakt		Benign skin lesions of the dermis and hypodermis are common esthetic problems. Recent developments in modern laser technologies coupled with accumulated clinical experience enable efficient and safe treatment of such lesions. The goal of laser therapy is to selectively destroy a skin lesion with minimal damage to the surrounding structures. Superficial benign skin tumors can be removed by laser ablation using lasers that emit various wavelengths of the infrared spectrum. These lasers are also used for ablative skin resurfacing. The principle of selective photothermolysis enables treatment of vascular skin lesions with wavelengths between 532 and 1064 nm. This article presents the basic principles of laser therapy and the authors' own experiences in the treatment of benign skin lesions using the Dualis VP® laser system (KTP, 532 nm and Nd:YAG,1064 nm) and Fidelis (Er:YAG, 2940 nm) by Fotona d. d.
Izvleček		Benigne spremembe kože in podkožja so pogost zdravstveni problem, ki predstavlja estetsko motnjo. Razvoj laserske tehnologije v zadnjih letih je ob ustreznih kliničnih izkušnjah omogočil učinkovito in varno zdravljenje teh sprememb. Cilj laserskega zdravljenja je selektivna odstranitev moteče nepravilnosti z minimalno poškodbo okolnih struktur ter povrnitev normalne barve in površine kože. Povrhnje benigne novotvorbe odstranjujemo po načelu ablacije z laserji, ki sevajo svetlobo valovnih dolžin infrardečega spektra. Ti laserji se uporabljajo tudi za ablativno pomlajevanje starostno spremenjene kože. Načelo selektivne fototermolize omogoča zdravljenje žilnih kožnih sprememb s svetlobo valovnih dolžin med 532 in 1064 nm. V prispevku predstavljamo osnovna načela laserskega zdravljenja ter naše izkušnje pri odstranjevanju benignih kožnih nepravilnosti z laserskima sistemoma Fotone d. d., Dualis VP® (KTP, 532 nm in Nd:YAG, 1064 nm) in Fidelis (Er:YAG, 2940 nm).
