Abstrakt		The introduction of ultrasound has radically altered the clinical approach to patient with digestive diseases, making it possible to observe the abdominal organs rapidly and noninvasively. Sonography is becoming indispensible in everyday clinical praxis. The aim of the article is to acquaint the doctors with the most frequent pathological changes diagnosed by transabdominal sonography in different abdominal organs and abdomen in general.
