| Abstrakt | Psichyatric emergency caused by inappropriate affect, severe cognitive disfunction and violent or suicidal behavior may occur as a consequece of psychosis, affective and general medical disorders. Taking accurate medical history from patients, family relatives as well as eye witnesses and evaluation of consciousness, affect, thought, perception and intention is essential to recognize emergency situations. Hospitalisation using restraint measures and police assistance are sometimes inevitable. | |
