Abstrakt		Present article presents options of direct and indirect measuring of blood sugar of the patients assessed pre hospital settings. Diabetes is a chronic medical disorder and needs constant control and treatment. Acute manifestation of disease can be due to too low or too high blood sugar concentration. These acute states of diabetes can be life threatening and therefore demands urgent recognition and treatment. Basic investigation is a measuring of blood sugar concentration.
