Abstrakt		The "Jezersko-Solčava" breed is an autochthonous meat breed of sheep in Slovenia with high reproductive performance and whole-year polyoestrus. Biochemical and physiological parameters in this breed have been poorly investigated. The aim of the research was to estimate the progesterone, thyroxine (T-4) and triiodothyronine (T-3) concentrations during the oestrus cycle, in the pregnant ewes and in the anoestric ewes after lambing. Plasma progesterone concentration was measured by EIA, serum T-3 and T-4 by RIA.
