Abstrakt		Loneliness of elderly people is a big and a frequent problem of the modern world. It has influence on psychical disorders and visa versa. Loneliness frequently causes a psychical disorder and a client's hospitalisation, too. The reasons for feeling lonely, the characteristics of mutual relation, communication, and social skills which play an important part in a social interaction, are dealt with in the article. Some possibilities of how to increase a social interaction of elderly people and how to prevent loneliness among them are given as well.
