Abstrakt		Rapid growth and development are major caracteristics of neonatal period. The caloric needs of the infant are covered only through the feeding. Comfortable and satisfying feeding practices contributes to the infant's and mother's bonding and well-being. If the feeding practice is unsuccesful and the growth and development are delayed, than tense, anoxious and irritable relationship is easily achived. In the article authors present the case of severe infant malnutrition as a consequence of feeding problems.
