Abstrakt		Within the field of medical utilization of ionising radiation the legal frame which introduces the EU regulations was determined by the Law on Protection against lonising Radiation and Nuclear security as well as Regulation on use of lonising Sources in Medical Treatment. The 50th anniversary of the Slovenian Society of Radiologists is a opportune moment to present some of the news concerning the legal framework of the protection against ionising radiation as well as characteristics of the technical equipment being used by the radiologists.
