Abstrakt		ln the paper four stomas classification are presented; according to anatomic localisation, to duration, to art of creation and regarding to pathological causes. For every examination advantages and disadvantages of specific stomas regarding to nursing and possible camplications are reported. Pathological causes which lead to permanent or temporary stomas are analysed. Described are main early and late complications and the role of surgeon, family physicians, enterostomal therapeutist and home nursing. Emphasised are expecting duties for family physicians before and after the operative procedure.
