Abstrakt		The aim of healing parastomal hernias (PH), presenting late stoma complications, is above all to ease the nursing in patients with the stoma brought out to the surface of abdomen. In the contribution one can find some pieces of advice for parastomal hernia surgical operations. Some of them are of foreign origin, some are based on my own experience and are shortly presented by the results achieved in our ward from 1987 to 1996. Our results show above all that the parastomal hernias are quite rare. Like in inguinal hernia, a unified healing approach doesn't exist.
