Abstrakt		Slovene health insurance companies have prepared a proposal for additional compulsory insurance scheme for a prolonged nursing within a home environment of a patient. Implementation of the proposal would boost doctor-to patient telemedical application development with associated services in Slovenia. In the paper an emerging telecare system infrastructure called "lifeline" is considered a potential environment for the proposed programme. Adoption and upgrading the telecare solution would solve some in the proposal still open problems.
