Abstrakt     Diagnostic evaluation of degenerative conditioned skeletal changes and relation between such changes and the mechanism of the injury shouldn't be too complicated if the total data of the mechanism of the estimated injury, biomechanics, full patient's documentation and causative relationships of facts will be respected. All fhese chriteria should be performed and respected with high accuracy and should aproach the real situafion and the circumstances which had happened in the accident. Having performed the most frequent posttraumatic and degenerative spinal changes which demand very accurate and exact examination and diagnostic procedures, these methods should discriminate between the segmental instability in motion, sequelae of intervertebral disco-ligamentar leasions and should be analyzed as possible causes of characteristic chronical painful epysodes or causes of the chronical posttraumatic pain syndromes accompanied with heavy muscular spasms. According to the biomechanical data and respecting the functional and neurophysiological examination methods the estimation of all coinplemented factors should give an answer about the extent, corelation dependance between the degenerative changes and posttraumatic changes of the spine and should sugest the focused therapy of the injured patient and the possibilities which could have already been done. The suggestions how the estimation between the injury and the degenerative sceletal nontraumatic changes could be made more exact and accurate, have been accentuated in these review. Special accent habe been made to the intervertebral disc changes, intervertebral zygapophysal joints injury and to the chronical pain syndromes which have to be discussed and treated multidisciplinary and make the real estimation of the injury degree very possible.
