Abstrakt		Introduction: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic progressive inflammatory disease of multifactorial etiology. Cytokines, TNF-a included, are a key factor of etiopathogenesis. They also play a significant role in the development of spondylarthritis (SpA). Aim: Our aim was to present the treatment of RA and SpA with biologic medication. Conclusions: The development of biologic medicinal products lead to significant progress in RA and SpA therapy. However, this therapy is associated with possible side effects that should be considered.
