Abstrakt		The numerous febrile diseases with rashes that affect infant, child and adolescent present a diagnostic challenge to the physician. The skin lesions may be an important hollmark of severe infection and recognition of them may be lifesaving. The essential elements for diagnosis in the patient with fever and rash include a detailed history, an accurate physical examination and careful and systematic observation of the patient. In some situations, infection may be difficult to recognise apart of noninfectious disease and laboratory evaluation is necessary to detect the cause of the illness. In epidemiologic point of view it is important to find out the disease with epidemic pattern of spreading and make decisions and take further steps to bring the situation under control.
