Abstrakt		Arterial hypertension is one of the major health problems in the Western world andrenovascular hypertension affects 1% of the total population with hypertension. Renovascular hypertension can be cured or ameliorated and renal function can be preserved in patients with renovascular hypertension. Number of tests aimed at screening for renovascular hypertension, duplex color Doppler sonography has an important role. Authors present techniques of renal artery and kidney scanning. They also present the sonographic criteria for significant renal artery stenosis.
