Abstrakt		Public health improvement demands policy in accordance with up to date scientific and professional achievements considering social determinants of health and priority of the measures applied to achieve health. Health determinants at mans entrance into life and during his/her youth influence the whole life of the person and community. Therefore, they deserve political priority taking into consideration not only health activities (health policy) but also health promotion, welfare and environmental improvements. It is to say that that the policy of health should consider long-term, coordinated measures in all segments of society. This paper deals with constituents of health policy and elements for the holistic planning of childrens and adolescents health. Enforcement of policy on health can be achieved if it is actively present on all levels (awareness) and each segment of the society. Development of the policy on health is in charge of the government and experts in public health. For its full enforcement are needed professional fundation, social strategies and political will.
