Abstrakt		This work deals with testing of efficacy of disinfectant Virkon on rubber and ceramic surfaces contaminated with bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and with testing of Virkon's sporocidal properties against Bacillus subtilis. Disinfectant effcacy was tested by DGMH 84 (91) method. Scerfaces were disinfected by various concentrations of Virkon's water solutions, Virkon's powder and by combination of powder and sulution. The Virkon sporocidal properties were tested by classical method, using test-tubes and by newer checkerboard micromethod. The two methods were compared determining their advantages and drawbacks.
