Abstrakt		The process of provisioning educational basis in the Littoral started some years ago with the foundation of the College of Health Care Izola. By the end of the academic year 2004/2005 the first generation of students, which performed part of their clinical training at the General Hospital Izola, completed the study of nursing. The presentation presents the period of preparation and execution of the clinical training as well as some experiences gained by the tutors during the students work at the hospital. The conclusion of the presentation focuses on the practical point of view about the educational base status, taking into consideration its advantages and disadvantages.
