Abstrakt		In metrorrhagias, in which medical treatment fails, more or less radical surgical treatments are applied. The choice of the method of treatment should not depend on medical reasons alone, but also on the economical aspect. We present the advantages of thermal endometrial ablation prior to hysterectomy taking medical and economical aspects into consideration.
