Abstrakt     Globalization had a big impact on the position of work and workers, as well as on the society as a whole all over the world. In the fields of work, we are witnessing big changes, from the loss of power of traditional players to the occurrence of new and unsolved social problems, the expansion of violence in the workplace and experiencing of social unease. Classical class division is changing to the division to those who have and those who have not. These problems are also present in Slovenia. One of the most important modes of solution is social dialogue, which is also recommended by International Work Organization, built-in into the European Union contract, as well as into the proposition of the new European constitution. Slovenian constitution defines social dialogue as a relevant mode of problem coordination. Nobody can escape globalization trends, together with their positive and negative aspects, and health workers should use social dialogue.
Izvleček     Globalizacija močno vpliva na položaj dela in zaposlenih ter družbe v celoti povsod po svetu. Prihaja do pomembnih sprememb na področju dela, do izgube moči tradicionalnih igralcev in do pojava novih ter vse več nerešenih socialnih vprašanj, naraščanja pojavov nasilja na delovnih mestih ter občutka socialnega neugodja. Klasična razredna delitev se spreminja na delitev na tiste, ki imajo, in tiste, ki nimajo. Tudi v Sloveniji so ti problemi prisotni. Kot eden najpomembnejših načinov reševanja le-teh je opredeljen socialni dialog. Tega priporoča Mednarodna organizacija dela, vgrajen je v pogodbo Evropske unije ter tudi v predlog nove evropske ustave. Tudi slovenska Ustava opredeljuje socialni dialog kot primeren način usklajevanja interesov. Globalizacijskim trendom in z njimi povezanimi prednostmi in slabostmi se ne moremo izogniti tudi izvajalci zdravstvene nege imamo pa ustrezno orodje v socialnem dialogu.
