Abstrakt		In the article it is shown the informational system for documents which is used in nursing care in the General Hospital Jesenice. Good information system can offer many advantages by daily work and the evaluation period. It can he used by the work with the patient and also as a promotion of the proffessional development of the nursing care. Introducing the inforrnational system in Geneal Hospital Jesenice starts in early 90's. The emphasize was on developing the informational system for evidence the numbers of data on the field of prevention the hospital infection, developing the e-designed temperature leaf in central intensive unit and the monitoring the patient circulation inside the hospital. Informational system is upgradet several times in last years particulary on the field of presentation the data of the categorised patients for the need of nursing care and managing the hospital quality indexes. lt is using for the evidence of the realised activity, directing the patient on different special examination, to ordering the food in hospital kitchen. The main users by their daily work activities are the leading medical nurses (evidence the employees working time, ordering the material in thehospital pharmacy...).
