Abstrakt		In the past year, by taking into consideration the coming organisational and infrastructural renewal of the Emergency Unit of the Ljubljana University Medical Center, the analysis of the current condition of emergency medical services was conducted and a complete scheme for a new information system in emergency medicine was created within the Ljubljana University Medical Center. The information system scheme in emergency medicine is designed so that the suggested concepts can also be used in other hospitals or emergency medicine units throughout the country. Within the scope of this project the telemonitoring solution has been put to the test, namely the electronic transmission of the urgent patient data: 12 channel EKG, vital signs measurements, medicine application, technical medical procedures carried out, basic personal data, etc. The system for basic telemedicine services had been set up on the destinations pre-hospital settings and six different locations within the Ljubljana University Medical Center Emergency Unit or Medical Center as a whole, and this system had continuously been running for seven months.
