Abstrakt		In the article, some data are cited showing that the problems of organization of quality care in homes for the elderly are closely linked with funds and very similar everywhere, for example in Germany; these problems are closely connected with the assurance of the services of nursing care which is the most important activity in these homes. By the presentation of the categories of nursing care I call attention to the specificity of it in the homes. Three categories are presented as an example. Problems arising from the practice are stressed, especially in the process of the evaluation respectively assurance of funds of nursing care services, which are mainly due to the ignorance of the nature of work in the homes.
