Abstrakt		The most common pattern of dyslipidemia in patients with type 2 diabetes is elevated triglyceride levels and decreased HDL cholesterol. Lowering LDL cholesterol is the primary goal of therapy. Patients who do not achieve the lipid goals with lifestyle modifications require pharmacological therapy. We use statins, fibrates, ezetimib and their combinations; resins are no longer on the market In the future we expect to use niacin.
