Abstrakt     Xanthoma disseminatum is a rare form of non-X Histiocytosis, of which fewer than 100 cases have been reported. It is considered a normolipidemic xanthomatosis because of the absence of hyperlipidemia and lipoprotein abnormalities in these patients. A 50-year-old man presented a 14-year history of multiple papules and nodules, yellow-brown colored, mainly located on his face, neck and upper trunk. Histological and immunocytochemical findings confirmed the diagnosis of Xanthoma disseminatum. A lipidic examination revealed hypocholesterolemia and hypolipoproteinemia affecting both low density lipoprotein (LDL) and high density lipoprotein (HDL).
