Abstrakt		Thrombocytopenia exists when platelet count drops below 150 x 10 9/L. There are various causes of the disease. Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is considered as hematologic emergency, as its clinical course can be unforeseen. When we find in a patient with ITP signs of bleeding, the patient must be hospitalized and needs urgent therapeutic measures. In this paper beside urgent therapies of ITP other ways of treatment of chronic, resistant and ITP in pregnancy are represented.
