Abstrakt		Vaccine-preventable diseases pose a greater threat to preterm infants due io their lesser capability of immune system and consequences of prematurity. Evidence is mounting that these babies should be vaccinated at a chronologic age consistent with the schedule used for full-term infants. During the last years additional possibilities for protecting preterm babies from some potentially life-threatening infections such as respiratory syncytial virus are available.
