Abstrakt     Chrohn's disease is a disabling inflammatory bowel disease that may involve any part of the gastrointestinal tract. Standard therapy include 5-aminosalicylic acid, antibiotics, corticosteroids and immunosuppressors. These therapies, especially corticosteroids, mainly controlle symptoms. But long-term use of corticosteroids is associated with serious side effects. These patients are at a higher risk of bone loss, osteoporosis and osteoporotic fractures. Bone dentisy testing and osteoporosis management are recomanded for patients with Crohn's disease at greater risk .
