Abstrakt		Women's satisfaction is considered one of the indicators of the quality of maternity care. Article describes quantitative part of the national study that is concerned with this issue. The discussion is focused on the results which refer on the expectations and experiences of Slovenian women regarding pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period; we were especially interested in their perception of health professionals who took care of them during this period. The fact is that women, included in the study, were relatively satisfied with the treatment during that period, despite this the conclusion summarizes recommendations for the improvement of certain practices.
