Abstrakt		The biological activities of rhTNF-alpha Nv3 and rmTNF-alpha were analyzed and compared with biological activities of hTNF-alpha described elsewhere. The effects of both molecules on lipid metabolism and proliferation of diploid fibroblasts and their cytotoxic and antiviral activities were studied in different cell systems. The cytotoxic activity of rhTNF-alpha Nv3 was twofold lower than that of rmTNF-alpha and similar to the activity of the wild type hTNF-alpha. Comparisons of the effects of rmTNF-alpha and rhTNF-alpha Nv3 on proliferation of diploid fibroblasts and lipid metabolism as well as comparison of their antiviral activities showed that the biological activities of both molecules were not significantly different and were similar to the known activities of hTNF-alpha.
