Abstrakt     Employment provides the environment where individuals acquire and develop qualities needed to carry out a specific type of work. By activities comprised in the concept of a »learning companya or »learning organization, the company creates the conditions for organized professional socialization of its employees and influences the development of knowledge, skills and qualities that characterize the individual as a member of a certain profession. The result of social interaction and self-definition is professional identity that entails an organized structure of values about ourselves and is expressed through our professional work.
