Abstrakt     Renal biopsy speciemns from 12 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were analyzed by light microscopy, electron microscopy and immunofluorescent technics. Most common abnormality was membranous GN, secondary to treatment with gold salts or D penicillamine. All MGN cases were in I stage except one which was passing in II stage and all of them were with good remission after therapy ceseation. In two patients, in which were not administrated mentioned drugs, renal amyloidosis with following nephrotic syndrome was found. In next 3 patients, which also were not underwent to gold and DPA therapy glomerular mesangial proliferation occurred. In first patient with mild RA, immunologically was established diagnosis of IgA GN. In other two cases with glomerular meangial proliferation, RA was conincidented with Reiters syndrome and SLE. In reports it was suggested that RA could be primarily followed with MGN in patients which were not underwent by gold salt therapy, also with mesangial glomerulopathy and necrotising GN.
