Abstrakt		Male rats were perorally or intramuscularly administered LD50 of 2,4-D and MCPA from Deherban A and Deherban M (Chromos Zagreb). The presence of the herbicides was being determined by means of TLC (thin layer chromatography) in blood samples, which were taken 90 and 150 minutes or 5,6 and 7 hours resp. after administration, and in stomach and intestine contents as well as tissue homogenizates of liver and kindey, which were taken 24 hours after administration. Rf values established with our analytic method (0.54 for 2,4-D and 0.60 for MCPA) prove that TLC with lower sensitivity limit of 0.01 ug per application is an adequate method for toxicological analysis in diagnosics of acute poisoning with herbicides.
