| Abstrakt | The article describes the case of a nine-year-old girl with a dermatophytic infection of the skin on her face, which was caused by Microsporum canis. In Slovenia this is the mosf common dermatophytic infection, affecting mostly children between 6 and 10 years of age. Late recognition of the disease and inappropriate usage of local corticosteroids allows the disease to spread, requiring long-term systemic and local antimycotic treatment. | |
